Leaving the Grandes Rousses Hotel & Spa this morning, the convoy descended from Alpe d’Huez into the heart of the Alps, following parts of the legendary Route des Grandes Alpes. Tight hairpins, fast sweeping corners, and dramatic mountain passes set the tone as the cars carved through valleys, forests, and quiet alpine villages beneath snow-covered peaks.

Further south, the landscape slowly transformed. The sharp mountain scenery opened into rolling countryside, warmer air, and endless vineyards stretching toward Montpellier. By the time the route reaches Domaine de Verchant, the drive has shifted from raw alpine roads to the relaxed elegance of southern France and its sunlit wine fields.
The total route is 336 km.
